Since 2014, the Photo-Bluminator for the iPhone is Eidolon's new convenient invention to look at the eye with (and without) fluorescein. It possesses spectrally pure blue and white LEDs. The Eidolon Photo-Bluminator II's detachable optics can be used in conjunction with all Smartphones.

A Stand-Alone Illuminator
It can be used as a stand-alone visual device or with other Eidolon accessories such as the Eidolon Hand Held Slit Lamp. Detecting and photographing corneal abrasions, foreign bodies, and other epithelial defects has never been so simple.

The Photo-Bluminator II contains both white and blue patented LEDs. The two white and blue LEDs are separated by 180°. When the rocker switch is tilted to the right, it generates blue light. When it is tilted to the left, it generates white light.
